The Role

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager and working as part of a great team, as a senior Customer Service Representative, you will provide exemplary service to a portfolio of clients to meet all their logistical requirements.

Your responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Evaluate client needs, assess the logistical options and make business decisions to ensure time lines are met
  • Communicate with overseas agents and local clients to ensure cargo is transferred in timely and cost effective manner
  • Accountable for providing loading plans to overseas agents for FAK and Airfreight consolidations
  • Proactively monitor, report on cargo status and manage any issues
  • Ensure profitability on shipments, escalating and working through issues with the Sales Team/Sales Director
  • Maintain client records and update rates
  • Responsible for sending sailing confirmations to customers and ensure all air cargo is uplifted as planned
  • Ensure that order tracking clients receive their status reports
  • Ensure all orders and notes are updated

 

Requirements for the Role

We are searching for like for like individuals to join us, develop with us and be part of our growing business. It's essential you have relevant industry experience for this position.  

  • Freight Forwarding experience of at least 3 years
  • Customer Service Experience in Freight Forwarding
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Integrity and a can do attitude
