Randstad is looking for a highly driven logistics coordinator to work as an integral part of our clients daily operations.
Our client is a leader in medical device manufacturing, providing innovative solutions within the orthopaedic and medical industry.
This position will be based at their Belrose distribution centre working from 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. This is a casual ongoing position with the view to permanency for the right candidate.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
- Promote excellent customer service
- Responsible for the confirmation, coordination, tracking and follow up of all loan equipment bookings
- Develop and promote effective communication and strong business relationships with customer base
- Liaise with carrier companies
- Pick requested items for packaging and despatch
- Inventory and stock replenishment
- Cycle counts
- Data tracking and report preparation
In order to be successful for the role you will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing and logistics environment
- Previous experience with logistics coordination
- Proficient with the use of computer systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn
