When international air cargo touches down in Australia, we’re there to get it the rest of the way to its destination. Our interstate trucking services cover the domestic legs of international airfreight operations, driving between all the major cities from our hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Coolangatta, Perth and Adelaide.
In 2008, Qantas Freight Enterprises bought Jets Transport Express. Today we operate as Qantas Road Express Pty Ltd, a wholly owned but independently managed business.
Our JETS Transport base in Brisbane is seeking Local Operations Agents to perform a range of warehousing and driving duties.
Your duties will include:
- Local deliveries and pick-ups around the Sydney region
- Warehouse duties including loading and unloading interstate trailers
- Operation of vehicles and equipment in a safe manner, including forklift duties
- To be considered to join our driving team you will need:
- A minimum of a HC Licence
- Experience using a forklift
- Experience operating a Road Ranger gearbox
- Able to work a 7 day rotating roster covering 0500 to 2000
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to be flex between warehousing duties and driving
- A valid forklift Licence will be desirable
- Experience in a cargo terminal environment will be desirable
