An opportunity has become available for experienced Team Leaders to join our motivated, professional and friendly Distribution team; striving for operational excellence. Located at our Mile End Distribution Centre, these are full-time positions on either day or afternoon shift.
Who are we looking for?
Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, we are seeking committed individuals, with a “can do” attitude. You will have previous experience with receiving goods, unloading / loading product, picking orders for distribution and packing stock away. You will be responsible for leading either the day or afternoon shift to achieve the required business outcomes.
A Forklift licence and minimum of MR Truck licence is essential.
Responsibilities of the Team Leader include;
- Leading, coaching and motivating a team of new and experienced operators to achieve business outcomes
- Utilising continuous improvement techniques to deliver optimal production performance
- Work within and across teams to share information, skills and resources in order to optimise business performance
- Skills in people management, problem solving and priority setting
- Identification of quality issues and acting efficiently to remedy the situation
- Previous Warehousing experience with high level focus on safety
Success as a Team Leader;

- Experience within the manufacturing/distribution industry
- An enthusiastic, innovative driven approach, which successfully delivers in a dynamic team orientated environment
- Confidence to make decisions in a timely and accountable fashion

- Supervise, mentor and develop the production team to ensure they reach their full potential in their roles
