About the business and the role
K Care Healthcare Solutions is an innovation company based on family values. We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of a vast range of medical and in-home aids to assist people living with disability, mobility impairments and the aged.
We are seeking a warehouse team member to join our team in Epping, Vic. This position is casual with working days between Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. An immediate start will be available for the right candidate with warehouse experience who has a high standard of customer service.
You will have an opportunity to work with a growing company and play an integral role in the receipt, picking, assembly, dispatch, management and delivery of our significant product range.
The successful candidate will be required to have a National Police Check.
JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities
- Undertake stock management and control
- Undertake Quality Control checks to ensure all equipment that leaves warehouse is in accordance with customer expectations and KCare Quality Standards
- Operate a computer to receive and process orders online
- Pick and pack products for delivery
- Process transport consignments
- Regularly liaise with freight companies to arrange delivery of stock
- Undertake product wrapping and packing procedures in line with OH&S procedures
- Work closely with suppliers and transport companies to meet deadlines and manage stock
- Work closely with K Care staff to meet deadlines and manage stock
- Operate a forklift to load and unload stock
- Pick and pack customer orders
- Undertake periodic stocktakes
- General Housekeeping Duties
- Undertake training and other duties as required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
- High level literacy and numeracy skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in working in a Warehousing/ Storeman position
- Intermediate computer skills
- Self motivated with a desire to develop skills in all areas of warehousing and logistics
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Reliable, trustworthy, flexible and dependable
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fork Lift licence
- National Police Check
- Right to Work in Australia
