About the role:
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Airfreight Department. We are looking for the perfect candidate to manage the implementation of our airfreight security program. This is a large scale project with high level strategic importance and will change the way the airfreight department operates in the future. Due to the nature of the project and its importance, we will require someone who is a result orientated, self-motivated individual, who can work both autonomously and within a team and is able to work and communicate with external governing bodies as well as different levels of authority.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
- To identify the required changes regarding airfreight security requirements
- Prepare and present recommended actions and requirements for program implementation
- Formulate and implement a Kuehne & Nagel specific airfreight security program compliant to the changes made by the Australian Government.
- Communicate changes to the organisation and develop and deliver a training program for all stakeholders involved.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following skills:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a project management or similar role
- Understanding of air transportation security legislation
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of compliance incl. documentation management
- Proven success in project implementation
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work independently
- A team player
