Russell Transport is a recognised quality provider of transport, heavy haulage, project logistics and warehousing services. The business is based in Brisbane but runs numerous Branch operations throughout South-East Queensland. 

Our business performs contract haulage tasks for some of Australia's largest Companies and does a mixture of ahoc project orientated work within the mining and industrial services segments.  The business prides itself on its service, offering the quality of its assets and the experience of its valuable staff. 

Being in operations for over 90 years, our company is on the back of securing many major projects in recent times and purchasing new assets, which has created this new division. The division incorporates all facets of the business bundling and offering;  heavy haulage, maintenance, specialised transport, project cranes and logistics management services.

The role will be based at our Lytton Project Office and report direct through to the Divisional General Manager.  This role will involve travel and supporting the business development on a national basis

Key Selection Criteria

  • Experience in dealing with Blue Chip operations and be capable of building relations at the highest level
  • Proven experience in negotiating complex terms and be comfortable within a contracting environment
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of heavy haulage and the intricacies of the logistic parameters on loading and transporting out of gauge loads through difficult circumstances
  • Proven experience to price industrial and resource logistic activities and the methodologies of how to formulate and price transport/logistic

The preferred candidate will have a strong network that can leverage the service offering and be able to steward outcomes that benefit all parties.
