A Food Manufacturing company based in Braeside is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the day shift. Manufacturing and packing high-quality dry foods with a purpose-built production facility, the company has a strong team culture built on loyalty and respect for employees hard work. Reporting to the Production Manager the successful candidate will become an integral part of a dynamic team.

A Food Manufacturing company based in Braeside is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for the day shift. Reporting to the Production Manager the successful candidate will become an integral part of a dynamic team.
The Job:
- Manage and coordinate the production process ensuring minimum downtime and effective use of labour
- Mentor and develop direct reports with regular review
- Work closely with Cleaning and Quality Teams to ensure Food Safety and GMP criterion met at all times
- Demonstrate and maintain safe work practices in line with OH&S guidelines
- Ensure adherence to company OH&S policies and procedures
- Communicate non-conformances to relevant stakeholders for corrective action
- Contribute to the production schedule process to maximise plant efficiencies and deliver customer orders to specification on time in full
- Collate, document and communicate required production and quality data
- Liaise with suppliers and customers as required
- This position is subject to a pre-employment medical
- National police check may be requested
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in production supervision, ideally in the food industry
- Ability to problem solve and rectify root cause
- Experience with FMCG manufacturing and supply chain
- Understanding of Six Sigma, 5S, 5Y processes advantageous
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
- High attention to detail, process and procedures
- Ability to multi-task with good organisational skills
- Have a positive hands-on approach
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
