About the Client:
Our client manufactures and distributes quality hygiene and paper products nationally. They supply to several thriving industries, including education, hospitality and domestic. Our client holds numerous large contracts with well-known retailers and last year was awarded 'Supplier of the Year'. Our client is currently seeking a reliable and skilled forklift driver to join their team.
About the Role:
The role is fast paced so if you like a challenge, its the ideal position for you! You will be operating a counter balance forklift but need experience with several attachments and skills such as twin tyne, double deep and high stack. You will be working with paper products. The shifts are DAY 6am-6pm. You will have 3-4 shifts a week and be on a rotating roster. This will mean working on weekends occasionally. The pay rate is $26.61p/h and it is an ongoing role.
Responsibilities:
> Forklift operating (double deep, twin tyne)
> High stack of soft product
> Moving pallets quickly to keep up with production line
You should have:
> Previous experience with double deep, high stack and twin tyne (high reach not essential)
> Previous experience in an FMCG industry highly beneficial
> The ability to cope under the pressure of a fast paced environment
> Availability to work weekends and 12 hour shifts
> Attention to detail
