Our client is one of the leading beverage companies in its field across Australia and New Zealand, manufacturing one of the highest quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the market.

Conveniently located in Tullamarine, there are currently several vacancies within the production area manufacturing bottled and canned drinks. The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Operate equipment and carry out process activities with a lean manufacturing mindset to manufacture product to agreed quality, time and cost specifications

• Take responsibility for quality of product/process in assigned work areas and act appropriately to rectify issues as identified

• Complete process area check-sheets, and compliance data collection accurately and in a timely manner

• Manage raw material inventory for specific process activities and report usage to relevant manufacturing co-ordinators for appropriate replenishment

• Carry out routine process maintenance activities (Asset Care, Clean Inspect Lubricate) and work with reliability team members to ensure all equipment is maintained for optimum performance

• Perform daily process area cleaning to maintain company compliance, GMP and HACCP standards

The successful candidates will enjoy working autonomously as well as part of team and be willing to work a variety of day, afternoon and night shifts. Ideally we are looking for applicants who fit the below description:

• Minimum 2 years of machine operation within beverage, pharmaceutical, and / or associated industries

• Experience working with labeller, filler and / or packer machinery would be looked upon favourably

• Minimum 1 year forklift experience

• Able to 'trouble shoot' issues and identify areas for improvement

• A solid work ethic and good attitude towards your colleagues and work

• Able to perform manual handling safely and correctly, including bending, twisting, stretching and reaching

• Problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to multi task are all required traits.
