This successful market leader based in the Norwest Business has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to come and lead their team.
This is a hands on and busy role where your responsibilities will include, however not be limited to:
- Manage all orders and deliveries, delegating workload as required
- Manage a team of up to 10+ casual employees – providing leadership and guidance
- Effectively manage and schedule labour resources and shifts
- Stock control and coordinating regular stocktakes
- Identify, report and implement process improvements and efficiencies
- Ensure all OHS requirements are practised and reported
- Receiving goods
- Logistics
- Ensuring all customer’s expectations are met and/or exceeded
- Liaising with internal departments regarding urgent orders or discrepancies
- Arranging manifests and couriers
- Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse
To be considered for this role, it is essential you will have:
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Hard working approach
- Strong leadership and management skills with a very ‘hands on’ approach
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and ‘think on your feet’
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Forklift license desirable but not essential
This is an excellent opportunity! The standard hours are 8-5pm however flexibility will be required when early deliveries are scheduled etc.
