We are a small business and rely on our employees to be hard working and to take pride in what they do. We deliver Dairy Farmers dairy products and juices to schools, cafes, Nursing Homes and other small businesses.
A vacancy exists for a Permanent, Full Time (38 hours) MR Truck Driver/Packer, for an immediate start. Our depot is based in the Maitland area so prefer applicants who live close by so they have a short commute.
The position involves:
- Working an average of 38 hours/week.
- Having a minimum MR Licence.
- Starting between 3 and 4am Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as well as every second Saturday.
- Having Tuesday off each week and working alternate Saturdays.
- Accurately packing your own orders for your run 2 days a week - the truck is packed for you on 3 days.
- Multi-drop deliveries – good customer service is essential. You must be physically fit.
- Lifting – you must be physically fit.
- Being punctual and reliable.
This position is a physical one and suits a person who enjoys getting in and getting a job done by themselves. There are time constraints each day - people get cranky when they don't get their milk for their coffees or products to sell in their shops.
The successful applicant will need to provide a Working With Children Check and RMS printout of their driving record.
