Medium sized Australian owned Refrigerated Transport Co based in Rocklea is seeking an experienced Linehaul/Local Operations Manager to join our team.
The successful applicant will be experienced in road transport operations in local and interstate freight transport. This is a key position responsible for effective supervision of our local and linehaul driver teams including the loading, unloading and on time delivery of freight.
Responsibilities for the position include::

Supervision and co ordination of drivers

Liaison with customers
-
Allocating work to appropriate people and equipment

Co ordinate pickups and deliveries

Review of driver run sheets and proof of delivery documents

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Skills and experience:
-
Refrigerated transport experience in local and interstate operations
-
Demonstrated ability to plan organise and control deliveries
-
Proven time management and communication skills
-
Understanding of legislation and compliance requirements

High level organisational and communication skills
-
Sound PC Skills
This is a full time position, salary negotiable depending on experience.
