The Compliance Coordinator is a national role and is responsible for keeping the business aligned with the overall company objectives and compliant with all necessary policy, procedures and processes. Reporting directly to the Process & Quality Manager this role will drive operational excellence through the successful implementation of business improvement initiatives and process optimisation
Key responsibilities:
- Comply with and support all group quality and compliance policies, procedures and directives.
- Support and improve management control systems
- Manage the internal audit programme and perform internal audits to support Business Governance frameworks
- Conduct internal and external supplier audits focused on shop floor processing and assembly to deliver quality assurance outcomes
- Actively seek out improvement opportunities to be implemented in partnership with Line Managers
- Analyse data sources such as non-conformance reports trends and recommend improvement actions to address areas of concern
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA), investigation teams, where required to address issue of equipment breakdown and customer concern
Position requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role ideally in the mining industry
- Experience in implementing Corrective Action in a similar operating environment
- Proven ability to manage systems and to implement process improvements
