About the role

We are looking to engage casual, temp., ad-hoc staff for our Melbourne operations. You may be for instance a parent wanting to return to work, a retiree, or need to fit in with family obligations, perhaps needing to make up full time hours for yourself, or just seeking to do a "few" hours here and there or for short projects... Whatever your background or needs, we are an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourage your application.

All-rounders are warmly welcomed as are focused Import, Export, Cartage or Transport, FAK, Client Services or Customer Service candidates.

What is required is a minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in the international freight forwarding industry, air and sea; computer literacy; solid experience working with CargoWise1/EDI software, excellent customer relationship skills; excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and experience

Critical for this opportunity are the following:

• Possessing a minimum of 2 years' experience in freight forwarding and any/all of, import, export, cartage, client services, reception;
• Experience in CargoWise1/EDI;
• Proficiency in Excel and report writing;
• Using analytical and problem solving skills;
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team;
• Being proactive and making things happen;
• Focusing on high customer satisfaction (internal and external) and care factor;
• Providing superior communication to clients via phone, email and order tracking;
• Enjoying working within a process-driven environment;
• Assisting team members as required...
