A View to Food of Canning Vale
At present, they have opportunity for experienced Team Leader or Line Supervisor to join the team, and take responsibility of achieving the planned production in the allocated area while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, efficiency, cost and service objectives.
Role
This will be a hands on role, and the main function of this role will be to supervise a team of 8-15 staff to manufacture planned quantities and support the Production Co-orindintor.
- Ensure HACCP practices and procedures are adhered to.
- Product quality is maintained at all times
- Cleaning program of machines and production area is enforced daily
- Assist with maintenance as required.
- Hands on approach to work duties
- Proactive approach and positive attitude to making improvements
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a Manufacturing environment in a similar positions, preferably with in Food manufacturing environment
- Previous supervisory experience
- GMP, HACCP or similar QA programs experience
- An understanding of food manufacturing principles
- Experience with short production runs with a short shelf life product
- Strong ability to lead and manage a team
- Mechanically minded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and with high volumes and strict deadlines
- A positive attitude and an extremely high level of enthusiasm, initiative and self drive
Due to the nature of fresh produce our production schedule is constantly changing therefore we work “roster-till-finished” – shifts length can vary at short notice and jewellery is strictly prohibited
