An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team in Laverton. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, you will oversee the operations of multiple production lines and world-class automated equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation in order to effectively achieve operational targets and contribute to the achievement of customer service levels.
The role
- Working on a rotating roster and becoming multi-skilled to operate fully automated technology across all areas of the site including inbound goods and materials, processing, packaging and logistics
- Playing a critical role in identifying continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing the quality of products produced and despatched from site
- Demonstrating passion in your commitment to ensuring all duties are completed with Safety & Quality front of mind.
Skills & experience required
To be successful for the position, you will:
- Demonstrate a strong eye for problem solving, fault finding and initiative in identifying solutions and resolving issues
- Strive working both within a team environment and individually
- Possess experience working with world-class manufacturing technology, automation and best practice manufacturing standards
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and pride yourself on your ability to build trusted relationships site wide.
Experience within Mechanical/Electrical trades and Food Manufacturing will be highly regarded or Engineering graduates seeking to kick start their career within an iconic FMCG organisation.
Furthermore, SAP experience and a high level of computer literacy, in particular automated manufacturing software solutions, will be highly advantageous in securing this exciting opportunity.
