Due to business growth, there is an exciting opportunity for a Master Scheduler to join the RME Manufacturing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role establishes and manages the master schedule for all demand that is to be designed and manufactured at RME. This role works closely with the Demand Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and is responsible for revenue recognition plans and delivery to plan for all designed and manufactured demand. 

Duties of the Master Scheduler will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure a high level of customer focus to deliver quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Manage master schedule reporting regarding performance to revenue recognition plan, capacity plan from engineering through to shipping, inventory plan and production plan
  • Schedule demand based on the product mix and provide accurate confirmed dates
  • Manage sales and operational planning reporting and provide input into the process in conjunction with the Demand Manager
  • Manage reporting for clarity of the master schedule, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) measures, capacity and production plans and to determine labour and productivity performance statistics
  • Strong team leadership, teamwork, skills development and role coverage for team members
  • Continuous improvement focus
  • Lean and cost-effective products and processes consistent with the ISO quality systems framework and RME standards
  • Understanding and compliance with RME Workplace Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

REQUIRED

  1. At least 5 years’ appropriate experience in master scheduling and production planning in a quality manufacturing environment
  2. Demonstrated commitment to excellent workmanship and quality
  3. Excellent leadership skills
  4. Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to synthesise considerable and complex data
  5. Effective written and spoken communication skills
  6. Ability to influence without authority
  7. Effective time management and organisational skills
  8. High-level IT proficiency
  9. Extensive experience with ERP systems software specifically relating to manufacturing

DESIRABLE

  1. Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline
  2. Tertiary qualification in Business / Commerce, Management, Accounting or related discipline
  3. Relevant APICs Certification or equivalent

LICENCES

  • Possession of a current QLD ‘C’ Class Open Driver’s Licence (required)
