Ballarat Powder Coating are currently seeking a Powder Coater/General factory hand for its busy powder coating facility in Wendouree.
Operating since 1988, Ballarat Powder Coating has established itself with a strong reputation for superior quality.
The business is centrally located in Western Victoria, operating from a large scale facility in Wendouree, Ballarat and includes:
- An 80 metre conveyor line
- Large batch oven (7×3 metres)
- Sandblasting facility
- On-line cleaning system
This location provides easy access for customers throughout the region and close proximity to major customers in metropolitan Melbourne, with access to the Western Freeway only minutes away.
BPC clients include multi-national manufacturers, building construction contractors, agricultural companies and domestic customers.
We powder coat a range of materials including mild steel, aluminium, castings and galvanised product. Products powder coated include manufactured products, healthcare equipment, building and architectural materials, automotive products and domestic items.
This role is a casual position (with full time hours) with the view to possibly go permanent Full Time.
Whilst powder coating experience is preferred, fully training will be provided to the right applicant.
About the person.
- Candidates with a stable work history and experience within a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded
- Powder Coating experience - preferred, but not essential.
- Not afraid of hard work
- Available to work Monday to Friday (38hr week)
- Have own transport -preferred but not essential
- Fork lift licence benefical
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Be physically fit for manual handling tasks
- Have an excellent attitude
- Be proactive, reliable and keen
- Must show initiative
- Have a strong understanding and commitment to Workplace Health & Safety
- Punctuality, reliability, efficiency & sound work ethic essential
- Ability to work under pressure in a demanding/fast paced environment
- Ability to work well both autonomously & within a team
