We are one of Australia’s leading European automotive spare parts importing & distribution businesses based in Seven Hills. Our SME is in a period of exciting change and in need of a highly motivated and experienced Procurement & Product Management Officer to make this BRAND NEW ROLE their own!

Sourcing products from overseas for the European Automotive Aftermarket and supplying some of the biggest names in the automotive industry, we are looking for the right talent to build on our existing product sourcing and promote our brands.

Your duties will include:

• Analysis of competitors and keep abreast of category trends and the industry as a whole.
• Source relevant products and manage the product category and ensure the most appropriate and margin mix is selected.
• Liaising with overseas manufacturers to bring those products to market.
• Manage the existing overseas supplier network and maintain supplier relationships to grow the product category.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the technical aspect of products.
• Manage product related support from customers and end-users.
• Maintain knowledge of industry standards and keep up to date regarding the changes in the industry.
• Work closely with other key stakeholders within the business to ensure smooth operation of the business Procurement & Product Management.

Requirements for the position include:

• Experience in the Automotive Industry is favourable
• Exposure to Product Compliance Standards
• Expert client/supplier relationship management
• Experience in procurement & product management
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• High level of initiative, independence & resourcefulness
• Exceptional organisation & time management
