We are looking for a fun Quality Control Officer with great attention to detail, eager to learn and able to take responsibility to join our vibrant team.
About the role:
You will work a Sunday to Thurday or Tuesday to Saturday (6am-2pm) roster, based in Homebush West and reporting to the site Quality Assurance Manager
Your main duties will include:
- Perform day to day stock arrival and dispatch quality check
- Ensure all labelling meet the requirements
- Feedback results of all assessments using relevant documentation
- Collect retention samples, conduct shelf-life tests and maintain retention records
- Control of non-conforming product – hold, rework, reassess, reject
- Work with the Quality Assurance Manager to assure compliance to the relevant QA standards
To excel in this role and in turn become an integral member of our team you must have the following:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An eye for details, especially for quality and labelling compliance
- Willing to learn
- Good understanding of GMP principles
- Able to prioritize tasks
- 'Can-do' attitude and 'hands on' ability
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to develop and maintain sound professional relationship with team members and external customers
