Permanent job for a Maintenance Fitter in Melbourne's West

Your new company
Your new company based in Melbourne’s West are a meat packaging processor for high end retail supermarkets. Being in the industry for over 20 years they build their reputation on their delivery and their strong belief on their customer’s needs.

Your new role
Your new role will see you working as a Maintenance Fitter working Monday - Friday on day shift but must be able to be flexible for afternoon shift every now and again during holiday season. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, fault finding, production lines and start up checks. Your new role will see you in a role of permanency, stability and a good friendly environment working alongside 4 other fitter’s in the maintenance team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Mechanical trade qualifications
• Have a hand on approach and able to work under pressure
• Be able to problem solve
• Able to work autonomously and in a team
• Previous meat or poultry experience advantageous but not essential
• Welding experience would be highly desired
• Hydraulic/pneumatic experience
