The Role:
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
- Maintenance of a consistent sales pipeline focussing on nominated vertical growth
- Conduct RFT’s from potential customers
- Build trusted relationship with multi-vendors to acquire market information
- Manage multi-vendors to provide the cost effective solution to the customers
- Work closely with internal parties such as IT, procurement, solution design and HR to
- Develop a strong proposal to the customers and maximize the use of resources
- Measure customer satisfaction, retention and expansion
- Financial performance including reporting, targets and KPI achievement
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5+ years in a Logistics Sales Role (Ideally freight forwarding)
- Strong operational understanding of containerised cargo movements via sea, air and land
- Proven record in attracting, winning and maintaining clients
- Self- motivated and performance driven
- Good understanding of local market (ideally logistics/forwarding pricing, solutions
- Outstanding Presentation skills (internally and externally)
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- Solid Analytical and financial skills
