About your new role:

Working as an experienced Assembler and Filler your new role will require high you to confidently fill, assemble, package and pack products both manually and also using supported equipment. Located in Tullamarine you will work for a leading manufacturer of transparencies, sealants and coatings who pride themselves on their highly trained and experienced staff.

Please note that successful candidates will need to pass a pre-placement medical assessment and also supply their own steel cap boots

Duties:

• Complete the assembly of tubes, containers, labels and other materials required for work orders
• Manually fill and operate filling equipment
• Labels tubes and/or containers both manually and by operating label application equipment
• Package products into boxes and seals manually or by operating taping equipment
• Performs basic calculations to determine amounts of material required for work orders
• Lift filled boxes and place on pallets or stack in the assigned area

You will need:

• Minimum 1 years' experience working as an Assembler and Filler
• An ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Confidence in manually assembling parts using your hands, hand tools, power tools and basic jigs and fixtures
• An ability to follow instructions and take direction
• High level communication abilities both verbal and written
• An ability to accurately place and remove parts from stations on production equipment
