The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies and plans aligned to the category portfolio. The incumbent will be responsible for managing sourcing events spanning Capes and Opex. This role will suit candidates with an interest in a diverse portfolio including IT, Property and FM and Professional Services.
Reporting to the Portfolio Lead, this role will
- Implement category strategies and strategic sourcing processes
- Conduct significant sourcing events and deliver the remaining sourcing program collaboratively, with stakeholders
- Actively manage key stakeholder groups to foster collaborative and sustainable relationships and support for continued evolution of procurement better practice
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to accelerate the maturity of Procurement Services in the area of strategic sourcing and category management.
To be successful you will have
- Extensive experience within a Procurement function in a large, complex organisation
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management skills
- Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering or Commerce or relevant discipline.
