The position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Branch Manager to the lead the performance at our Alice Springs site. You will drive operations, achieving top and bottom line growth whilst delivering a high level of service to your new and existing customers. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring and managing activities of the branch whist achieving operational targets
- Responsible for P&L reporting, budget preparation, forecasting reviews and financial performance
- Performance reviews, talent management and succession planning
- Develop and introduce new/ revised operational improvement programs
Skills and experience
To be successful for the position of the Branch Manager you will have proven experience in a similar role providing leadership and managing operations within a business. You will also require the following skills and experience:
- Significant experience in managing operational departments
- High level of commercial acumen and numeracy
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence decisions
- Proven experience in safety leadership and performance
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as management or significant industry experience in transport and logistics or waste management
