OneSolomons have been manufacturing Home Improvement products for 30 years and are one of the leaders in this field in Queensland. We are looking for a Factory Foreman to run the factory and supervise a small team of production staff of up to 20 workers in our factory in Cleveland.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include :-
Ensuring WHS policies are adhered to and work is carried out safely.
Co-ordinate and allocate work to factory employees ensuring all deadlines are achieved.
Manage all disciplinary matters relating to factory employees.
Maintain work accuracy in all aspects of manufacture.
Provide Leadership and direction to all factory labour.
Ensure all employees are constantly productive efficiently and effectively.
Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery equipment.
Assist in the management of a harmonious environment, team building and training of factory staff.
Enforce safety rules through ongoing communication and Toolbox meetings.
Ensure housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
The person we are looking for will have a minimum of 5 years experience in workshop supervision plus trade experience in general fabrication. Computer literate in excel and word preferred. Preferably Forklift license but not a deal breaker.
