This is a genuine career opportunity for a highly motivated individual to make a difference to our Procurement & Logistics performance. With a focus on optimising our procurement strategy and outcomes to meet strategic operational and business plans, you will be required to implement best practice procurement and logistics parameters to achieve demanding DIFOT targets.
We source ingredients and packaging from a network of local and global suppliers and freight our goods nationally. Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for:
- Management of price negotiations and implementation of commercial contracts
- Management & development of our Vendor Assurance Program
- Management of materials, packaging, third party suppliers and logistics contracts
- Reviewing and developing new sources and channels of ingredients, packaging and raw materials
- Identifying and recommending continuous improvement strategies
With demonstrated commercial skills, the successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification and have demonstrated procurement & logistics management experience (preferably in FMCG). High level negotiation, planning, organisational and influencing are essential along with the ability to lead and manage a small team.
