A Noble & Son Ltd (Nobles) is a leading supplier and service provider of wire rope, lifting and rigging solutions for the energy, resources, manufacturing and construction industries with numerous branches throughout Australia. An opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Stores person to lead our Perth team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager WA, the role is hands on where duties include warehouse operations in terms of goods receipt, labelling and storage in a high volume, general office duties, supervision of staff and computing tasks.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate -
- flexible, versatile and highly organised skills
- strong internal and external customer service
- excellent communication skills
- previous warehouse and logistics experience and systems
- competent computer operations such as spreadsheet, word processing and outlook
Duties will include –
- ensuring the delivery, order picking, packing, assembly and distribution of products in a timely manner.
- updating all records that show inventory movement in and out of the warehouse in accordance with workplace procedures.
- a forklift and current motor vehicle license is essential, with MR license preferred.
- Technical and/or trade knowledge of the lifting industry will be highly regarded
Candidates will be required to undertake a full medical including drug & alcohol testing prior to commencement in the role.
The remuneration package will reflect the accountabilities of the position and will be negotiated in line with experience and skills.
