Project Officer
Defence & Government
Toll People NT are recruiting for a Project Officer to join our Defence & Government business in Darwin. Reporting to the Project Manager, this business critical role will provide comprehensive support to the Defence & Government team and its various business unit projects. The role consists primarily of operational and administrative support to the business.
You will be responsible for
- All aspects of the day to day operational activities including liaising with customers and service providers
- Coordinating operational activities as required
- Purchasing and procurement of materials and services to meet scheduled and ad hoc requirements
- Tracking orders to ensure goods are received in a timely manner
- Assisting with team administrative & operational tasks as required.

To be successful in this role you will have
- Strong administration & organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication & inter-personal skills
- The ability to perform manual tasks as required & work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills essentially in Microsoft Office inc. Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work flexible hours & on an on-call roster
- National Police Clearance - issued within last 3mths (or ability to obtain one)
It is essential that you are an Australian Citizen and are eligible for a Defence Security Clearance
You will also need to pass full medical requirements and must be able to provide evidence of having the Right to Work in Australia for this role. It is a prerequisite for the preferred candidate to undergo a criminal background check.
