AAP Industries is a market leader in the distribution of high quality pipe fittings and valves supplying both domestic and international markets.
An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Forklift driver/Picker/Packer who will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager in our Kirrawee branch.
This is a role that provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and hard working individual, who is energetic and reliable; a person who is aware of risk management and abides by all WH&S Policies and Procedures.
The duties of this role will include, but are not limited to: -
- Manual picking and packing of parts
- Unloading and loading trucks using the forklift
- Stocking shelves
- Stocktakes
- Housekeeping
- Other
Desirable Criteria: -
- Minimum 2 years experience in warehousing
- Customer Service skills
- Good written/oral skills
- Has a good knowledge of measurements and is able to add/subtract
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Have a strong work ethic
- Be able to work reasonable overtime if required including Saturdays
The successful candidate must possess: -
- A forklift license with photo ID
- Safety awareness and team attitude
- Good attention to detail
- A passion to learn and develop
Wage will depend on experience.
