About the business
Ovvio Organics is a Premium, Boutique, Australian Certified Organic Tea & Naturopathic Health Company founded by Anthia Koullouros with a store and naturopathic clinic in Paddington, and its manufacturing warehouse located in Alexandria, Sydney. In addition to Ovvio's own retail and online store, Ovvio products are stocked by some of Australia's top restaurants, cafes and retailers.
About the role
Your responsibilities within this role include:
- Blend loose-leaf tea, tisane, specialty latte and herb & spice range using the equipment provided and document.
- Assist in the monitoring and control of the flow of goods into and out of warehouse. Check all goods on arrival and before despatch, ensuring we receive the products, in the correct quantity and that there is no damage, record when goods arrive and store in the exact location in the warehouse.
- Assist in the management of stock levels (raw material, packaging and finished product), keeping track of stock levels, storage, stock rotation, stock take, returns, damaged stock and soon to be expired items.
- Assist in pick and pack & dispatch: online and wholesale orders with precision to ensure orders are met in full. Create consignments and liaise with various logistics companies.
- Co-ordinate special orders with our customer service, sales and retail departments.
- Cleaning, maintenance and organisation of work areas.
- Participation and management of special projects as required.
- Compliance to OHS protocol and the wearing of issued uniform is essential as well as personal hygiene.
- Attend weekly warehouse and monthly team meetings.
- Sales reporting to ensure the Operations Manager has up to date and relevant information.
