About the role
The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following:
- Forklift duties - Loading & unloading freight, moving loads, storing loads in racking & providing support to the workshop technicians.
- Freight Control - Coordinate & package all freight leaving site, expedite freight issues, arrange transport, follow up on delivery success.
- Stock Control - stocktaking, computer database updates, physical inventory of inwards goods, supply & reconcile spare parts.
- Production Support - ensure technicians have what they need, when they need it.

Skills and experience
- Knowledge of & ability to identify Oil & Gas equipment is a highly desirable attribute & advantage.
- High risk fork lift ticket (LF) is absolutely critical, first aid is an advantage.
- Ability to use an online database to accurately enter parts & part numbers is key.
- Good working understanding of what it takes to makes a stores area succeed.
- Experience operating various goods handling equipment (5T forklift, side stacker, electric hand trucks, jib cranes & gantry cranes etc) is desirable
- Dogman or riggers ticket is an advantage.
