This well respected international freight and logistics company believes in offering the best service possible when it comes to their valued clients. Through innovative technology and an extensive global team of dedicated freight and logistics specialists they pride themselves on providing a complete suite of integrated supply chain solutions across air and sea forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, 3PL and transport tailored to their customers freight management needs.

Due to continued growth and success they are looking to recruit a proactive and customer focused individual to join their successful team in newly created role.

Managing a portfolio of key accounts, your main responsibility will be to manage client’s expectations and needs whilst developing long term sustainable relationships and provide a high level of support service and resolutions to customers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure ongoing and consistent client satisfaction through effective and efficient management of customer enquiries.
  • Establish and maintain rapport and long term sustainable partnerships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Prompt attention to client quote request, coordinate information with overseas offices.
  • Liaison with airline, shipping lines, agencies and other relevant parties to request rate and service information.
  • Purchase order management, shipment updates / maintenance of status reports.
  • Maintaining rate schedules and client records.
  • Regular client visits to ensure your clients are well looked after, their expectations met, and any problems solved promptly. 
  • Strategically build new business from existing clients at a profitable level.
  • Assist with implementation of new business, ongoing client management and retention.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.

 

To be considered for this position you will be a dynamic and motivated team player with a minimum of 2-3 years’ recent experience within the international freight forwarding industry in a Customer Service or Account Management capacity. Professional presentation, effective communication, high level of customer service and problem-solving skills are essential for this role along with the drive to succeed and ability work in a fast-paced environment.
