A well-established, innovative, Australian owned leader in their industry has a permanent fulltime opportunity for a strong Storeperson within a manufacturing workshop.  This is a diverse and interesting role within a thriving business, providing career advancement and the opportunity to join a great supportive team based in Campbellfield.
 
About the Role:
Supporting management within the business, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Responsible for the warehousing, picking and distribution
• Goods receipting & dispatch
• Operating a forklift
• Stock allocation, tracking, tracking & inventory control
• Regular stock takes
• Customer orders & advice (Standard & odd size cuts)
• Customer order prioritisation monitoring & follow up
• Transport & courier co-ordination (Local/Interstate/National)
• Follow OHSE initiatives and process
• Quality control batch testing, inspections & audits
• General house keeping

 
About you:
You will be a passionate, reliable and self-motivated professional who enjoys working within small team and happy to work autonomously.  Desired skills & experience include:

• Relevant manufacturing and industrial product experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to read technical design drawings and specifications
• Proven assembly skills & use of basic hand tools
• Welding/fabrication skills - advantageous
• Physical ability to perform repetitive manual handling (regular manual heavy lifting involved)
• Strong Forklift driving skills
• Attention to detail

What's in it for you:
This permanent position offers a generous base salary of $50-55K plus superannuation, onsite car parking, and a genuine career opportunity. Working hours 7.00am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday. Within this role, there is scope for development and the opportunity to be mentored to a 2IC role.
