About the Role
Centurion in Kalgoorlie is currently looking for an experienced Fleet Scheduler to coordinate our fuel operations. This is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Operations Manager-Bulk Fuel and working closely with our Branch Operations Manager – Kalgoorlie. The ideal candidate will have experience in the scheduling and coordinating of fleets, in particular bulk fuel operations. Applicants will have excellent organisational and communications skills, with the desire to foster a great working environment.
Duties
- Schedule, coordinate and monitor movement of the Kalgoorlie fuel fleet
- Manage all resources to ensure service delivery to our customers
- Liaise with the fleet maintenance department to ensure the planning of servicing
- Ensure safe, cost effective and reliable distribution of loads
- Capturing of daily data and relevant safety statistics for client KPIs
- Establish and manage relationships with key internal customers, suppliers, employees and subcontractors
- Timely processing of paperwork and all corresponding transport documents for invoicing
- All associated administrative duties and timely processing for invoicing
- Seek out operational process improvement and initiatives
- Actively seek out new business opportunities
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce/business/logistics or relevant industry experience
- Highly developed organisational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to manage and lead staff
