In this challenging and busy role your responsibilities will include -
- Communications with freight forwarding companies
- Management of logistics documents, reconciliations of charges and preparation of document for payment
- Collect information of imports/exports for Australia
- Support the 3PL to ensure a smooth delivery of products from the local 3PL warehouse
- Ensure that local web portal for logistics is developed /maintained as a primary communication tool between sales and local warehouse
- Ensure that the group is compliant throughout the entire process to end customers
- Ensure that budget locally is kept
- Participate in projects locally to improve the delivery service, reduce costs
To be considered it is essential that you have extensive customer service experience within a manufacturing, distribution or logistics environment. You must have an understanding of logistics and with freight forwarders regarding customs paperwork. To succeed in this role, you will have SAP experience or a large ERP system. Accurate attention to detail and import documentation is seen as an advantage.
