A permanent role with a large construction company looking for an experienced transport allocator.
Your new company

As a market leader that has seen large growth over the past 10 years they recognise the importance in having the right workforce that are engaged and driven to see the business achieve its business objectives. They are currently looking for a permanent Transport Coordinator to join their team.
Your new role
The position will be responsible for effectively planning and coordinating the pickup and delivery of bulk loads for the local and intrastate fleet. The position has full responsibility for scheduling and operational control of the fleet including full adherence to associated policies and procedures. The role will see you interacting with customers and contractors therefore your communication skills will be excellent and you will be focusing on meeting customer requirements and KPI’s within the allocations team. Shift hours will be rostered between 5.00am - 6pm Monday to Friday and every second Saturday from 6.00am.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have worked as a transport allocator or coordinator previously and posses a strong work ethic and a drive to progress within a large company. You will have a good knowledge of CoR and fatigue management. You will have good communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. Great organisational skills and problem solving skills would be a key to success in this role.
