Who are we?

We're Sunnylife, an Aussie lifestyle brand born and based in Sydney. But we've got offices in Los Angeles and London too.

We're sun seekers, chasers and stalkers. We live for summer and the good times that surround it. While we get coats and scarves look great, we think bikinis and towels look better.

Privately owned, we specialise in bringing an Aussie summer to the rest of the world, starting in our own office.

What you will be doing!

Joining our close knit production team you will be taking an active role in the production of in demand and sought after Sunnylife products!

• Providing overall administration support to the Head of Production.
• Daily contact with our vast database of suppliers and factories in China and developing and maintaining these successful relationships.
• Product sourcing from offshore suppliers, ranging and product development.
• Working closely with other relevant teams on developing and sampling new season products.
• Connecting the design team with the manufacturers/factories (mainly in China).
• Understanding appropriate retail prices, materials, manufacturing processes and lead time for a range of categories across gift, homewares and lifestyle.
• Managing mass production purchase orders end to end (Order processing of products and components, Delivery, Quality, Shipping) to 3 different markets (Australia, Europe/UK, USA).
• Ensuring all critical paths and deadlines are met during each process of the development and production cycle.
• Forecasting, instructing, and balancing payments with Finance Department.
• Managing a Production Assistant.
• Ensuring data integrity and maintenance.
• Suggesting updates to the backend system and following up on technical improvements.
• Initiating and actioning various side projects that benefit the department and liaising and following up with relevant departments from start to implementation.
• Liaising with Sunnylife UK and USA offices/teams.

Who is the ideal candidate?

• Experience within homeware and giftware or fashion production will be highly regarded.
• Sharp as a knife.
• Possess exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy and is very organized.
• Excel literate essential.
• Computer literate (Outlook, Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, Word, Adobe Illustrator).
• Have excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fast learner able to learn how to use our order processing system quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to use critical thinking to solve problems and be solutions oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be flexible, with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment.
• Hard working enthusiastic team player.
• Oodles of common sense.
