Powertarps is a leading manufacturer and distributor of automated tarpaulin systems for tip trucks both nationally and internationally. Our head office is located in Wetherill Park NSW with distributors located in states Australia wide.
This business has been around for 16 years and has evolved using the latest technology in design and fabrics to come up with creative solutions for truck tarping products.
About the role
Due to growth we have an opportunity for a hands-on Production Supervisor to join our team. You will responsible for operating a plotter cutter and managing a small team to ensure deadlines are met. Initial machinery training will be provided.
Duties include:
- Motivating the team, allocating work, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Quality control
- Liaising with customers to ensure a positive end to end experience
- Managing stock levels
Skills and requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to meet deadlines and control the workflow
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience in a leadership role
- The ability to lead by example and motivate a small team
- Textile industry experience will be highly regarded
- Occasional paid overtime will be required
