Our Client 
Is a market leading manufacturer of plastic film based in Kewdale, with strong systems and processes . Scheduling and Planning are a priority for my client and they invest heavily in this area with a continuous improvement philosophy that is well supported by the management team


Your NEW Job 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be joining a professional and passionate team based at their manufacturing site in the Kewdale area.  You will connect with all levels of the business - from the production area to senior management, so the ability to communicate at all staffing levels is essential


Responsibilities (but not limited to )

  • Co-ordinate the scheduling and Planning requirements across several divisions within the business 
  • Ensuring that all production planning is accurate and communicated to the required areas 
  • Participate in national production meetings on a regular basis
  • Conduct Audits to ensure compliance of the scheduling systems and procedures
  • Maintaining and building relationships with production and management teams across the business 
Although training is provided you still need to have some skills and experience 

  • Advanced PC Skills especially with Microsoft programs 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • You must be disciplined and well organised
  • Have great time management & be a strong communicator
  • WA Drivers Licence
  • Be adaptable and able to cope with change quickly and effectively 

Even thought this role would have you working behind a PC most of the day it could also  require you to at times be in the production areas so you must be happy wearing steel caps and a high vis - this isn't a job for anyone who wants to wear high heels or mini skirts 

There is also the opportunity for interstate travel a couple of times per year so being flexible is essential 

This is a full time position starting as a casual, it would be expected after a qualifying period of approximately 3 months a permanent position would be on offer to the right person with a salary of between 60-70 K  P/A


Initially the pay rate would be $35.00 per hour and you would be expected to work Monday - Friday (38 hours per week / 6.30am - 2.30 pm )
