NewCold are a global integrated service provider in temperature controlled logistics and supply chain. We are currently located at multiple highly automated facilities to the west of Melbourne and preparing for ongoing growth within Australasia. The sites operate 24 hours – 7 days per week.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Planners main responsibilities are to undertake the planning and coordination of activities such as stock, resources, products as required for the logistical process to proceed smoothly to deliver clients’ orders and business needs expectations. This role is undertaken in a busy environment to high level compliance standards and timeframes.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have logistics back office experience, ability to multi task to tight timeframes and excellent Warehouse Management System skills. You will have:
- High level organisational skills
- Demonstrated prior experience in scheduling logistics activities/ orders
- Strong computer skills within Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft
- Strong customer and people focus
- Ability to problem solve, with continuous improvement skills
- High level administration skills within a logistics environment
- Ability to train and induct staff into new and existing procedures
- Ensure all opening and closing tasks are completed
- Able to be flexible with working on a rotating shift roster
