About the role
Bayset is an Australian owned business supplying Waterproofing, Flooring and Concrete Repair materials to the trade.
We are seeking a full time Warehouse Storeperson to undertake general warehouse responsibilities such as picking, packing and receiving of goods to the warehouse at our Coopers Plains branch.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, unpacking and storage of incoming goods in accordance with appropriate procedures
- Picking and packing of orders including courier and transport documentation
- Checking picked orders, invoicing and branch transfers
- Housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse area
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with periodic stock checks
- Adhering to warehousing and inventory procedures
- Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries
- Use of forklifts/machinery to move goods
- Operate computer software to locate stock codes, check and raise purchase orders, track back orders, invoice stock, locate and track stock movements and transfers and check debtor history and status
About you (Skills and Experience)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in warehousing preferred
- Current Forklift Ticket desirable
- A current manual drivers license
- A strong work ethic
- Motivation to provide high quality service delivery
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- A willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Participate as a willing and productive member of the team
- Good computer skills
- Ability to undertake physical manual labour
