Our dynamic Supply Chain and Inventory team is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join them in our Greystanes office.
This is an administrative role, with a high level of numerical and data activity, which will see you responsible for;
- Assisting in the daily processing of stock replenishment
- Reviewing purchasing activities for a wide range of materials, supplies and equipment
- Meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- Monitoring and updating procurement policies and procedures
- Purchase order exceptions
- Product maintenance
- Liaison with suppliers, warehouse, sales and other internal customers
As our successful candidate you will have proven extensive experience in a purchasing or procurement role. You will possess a high attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills, along with strong administrative skills. You are self-motivated, customer focused and possess excellent problem solving skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is essential. Due to the nature of our product range, experience or an understanding of the industrial product market would be an advantage, however is not essential.
