CoreStaff is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a leading, global blue-chip mining organisation. In line with current growth levels we now are seeking a production mining specialist to analyse and improve the mine control functionalities.
About the role
In your new role you will be responsible for analysis and improvement in the IROC+ A&I Process Control team. The process control team monitors the end to end supply chain performance, facilitates PPS activities and investigations and supports embedding operational discipline through coaching and feedback to line leaders. This role is to specifically cover the Mine Control function in IROC+. Specific duties include:
- Managing the adoption and integration of centralised processes with key site stakeholders (current on-going project)
- Carrying out Mine Control truck and shovel investigations using the established tools and processes providing coaching and support for the established lean boards
About you
You will ideally come from a consulting role in the production mining space, with an in depth knowledge of Truck and Shovel mining processes, autonomous haulage and coal mine operations.
In addition to this you will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Finance or Business, with at least 5 years process improvement experience in a coal mining environment.
