My client is a 3PL company based in Sydney's west. Due to expansion they require another Fleet Controller. They will be responsible for the scheduling and load allocations of trucks in Sydney. They will be required to have the following skills / attributes
- Geographical knowledge of Sydney metro and Country NSW
- Follow manifests and follow book-in process for major stores
- Ensure un-despatched reports are minimised, and provide notes where necessary
- Supervise staff and drivers in a respectful manner
- Prioritise loads with book-ins and older consignments
- ensure utilisation of vehicles is maximised
- Ability to problem solve and react to upcoming issues
- Courier experience highly desirable
- Strong transport background
