Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategy and framework across the business primarily related to corporate and professional service spend categories
- Lead sometimes complex end-to-end procurement processes including contract development and establishment to drive value and compliance across the company
- Work with the business to develop relevant policy and procedure that reflects business objectives and ensures value is extracted from contracts
- Consult to senior stakeholders on various procurement recommendations and provide insight into prospective process improvements
- Add a layer of commerciality to business operations to contribute to the organisation's financial position
- Provide leadership and development to a small junior purchasing team
Profile
- 10-12 years experience in a similar procurement position
- In depth experience working with indirect procurement service categories will be highly advantageous
- Proven experience working in a greenfield or semi greenfield environment setting up policy and procedure would looked upon favourably
- Managerial experience desirable
