The Opportunity?
As part of Toll Group’s new growth strategy , an opportunity has become available within Toll Intermodal & Specialised Services for a Pallet Controller to efficiently process all pallet related documentation in a manner that ensures the exposure to loss and hire charges are minimised and to assist in monthly pallet account reconciliation.
Reporting to the State Pallet Manager, key accountabilities and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Collect, verify and input pallet data to 2IC on a daily basis and to produce daily batch reports, verifying accuracy of data entry
- Reviewing and reporting on all equipment hire and movements in the monthly pallet reconciliation
- Download hire data daily and reconcile to 2IC and correct / reject entries as necessary
- Communicate with customers on aged Transfers & Exchange balances
- Audit the counting and recording of pallets
- Equipment control inductions for subcontractors and new employees
The Ideal Candidate?
- Extensive Industry knowledge and experience with pallet procedures
- Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to take ownership;
- Enthusiastic, proactive and driven to work in a busy setting.
