Each year we attend in excess of 250,000 people across the state and teach over 200,000 people life saving first aid skills.
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Storekeeper for a Permanent Full-Time position at our Belmont warehouse. You will need to be a team player and focused on achieving the warehouse operational and organisational requirements.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Participate as a dispatch team member so orders are picked with accuracy, packed in accordance with requirements, and distributed in a timely and efficient manner
- Receive and receipt inbound goods
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and annual stocktakes of the warehouse inventory to facilitate continuous restocking and ordering of goods
- Organise freight and couriers
- Manual handling and general housekeeping
- General understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Handle dangerous goods/hazardous substances in accordance with the relevant MSDS
Essential Knowledge and Skills
- Previous experience in picking, packing and dispatch/receivable functions
- Be a team player
- High attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience in a Warehouse environment
- Current Forklift Licence (Desirable)
