Facilities Management Company requires experienced Maintenance Planners to plan and schedule maintenance.

Your new company

A leading construction and facilities management company organisation has a special project coming up and need a Maintenance Coordinators/ Planners to commence immediately. This thriving department has a variety of massive government contracts and this role will sit within their Assets and Maintenance portfolio. Commencing immediately, you will be assisting the maintenance team to manage a challenging contract and help with their maintenance planning requirements on a variety of different assets in Victoria.

Your new role

You will be a critical part of their national government portfolio and sit within the Asset Management/ Maintenance planning division. You will liaise and work with contractors to obtain quotes, assist with maintenance queries, monitoring the progress of the works and following up the contractors to ensure the delivery of the contracted services. You will create maintenance plans and schedules and monitor an excel spreadsheet with maintenance work orders. You will support the maintenance team by following up on non completed work orders, assist in asset recording, setting up of new contractors and suppliers. You will compile asset lists for the maintenance and property team and prepare purchase orders and process invoices for completed maintenance works. You will schedule work orders out to trades that have not being done and ensure compliance of the contract.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need experience with a work order management system and be familiar with receiving and actioning maintenance requests. You will be a confident communicator who is an efficient and organised individual. You will come from a background in Facilities Management or property, you will have the ability to work independently or as part of a team but be confident using your own initiative. You will require an excellent phone manner and customer service skills as you may be dealing with challenging clients and a backlog of work orders. You will be motivated, resilient and able to fit into a corporate environment. Computer literacy is a must and SAP exposure would be good.
